Michael Hudson
Michael Hudson is a seasoned Human Resources and Labor Relations executive with over 35 years of experience, including key leadership roles at the Los Angeles Unified and Santa Monica Community College Districts. He also served as president of a specialized Human Resources consulting firm. Currently serving as a member of the LAUSD Personnel Commission, he possesses deep expertise in labor negotiations, talent acquisition, and dispute resolution. His extensive professional background is supported by an MBA from Loyola Marymount University and a diverse array of credentials, including PHR and California Labor Relations Master certifications. A recognized expert in his field, Mr. Hudson has lectured on performance management for Los Angeles County and CSU Northridge, grounding his practical leadership in a robust academic and instructional foundation.

Ms. Ann Havens is a distinguished human resources leader with over 30 years of public sector experience, notably within the County of Los Angeles and LAUSD. Specializing in classification, compensation, and organizational design, she has pioneered award-winning innovations in government hiring, including video interviewing and unproctored psychological assessments. Her career is marked by a commitment to operational efficiency, ranging from streamlining recruitment cycles to implementing integrated enterprise software systems. Currently serving as a Personnel Commissioner for the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Ms. Havens holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and continues to influence the field through professional leadership and HR instruction.

Karla Gould brings more than two decades of leadership experience in human resources, labor relations, and workforce strategy. Prior to her current focus on recruiting, she served as Personnel Director for the second-largest school district in the nation, where she led end-to-end talent functions—including, classification and compensation, onboarding, recruitment, employee appeal hearings, performance management, and professional development—for a workforce of over 40,000 employees. Known for her ability to navigate complex, high-volume hiring environments, Karla achieved a 97% fill rate across diverse business units, including Education, Finance and Accounting, Operations, Food Services, and Transportation. Supported by a Masters in Public Administration, her approach is both strategic and relationship-driven, allowing her to quickly understand organizational needs and deliver talent solutions that support long-term growth and advancement.

Robyn Warren is a strategic human resources leader with over 35 years of experience, notably serving as Deputy HR Director for the Los Angeles Unified School District. An expert in talent management and human capital systems, she specializes in recruitment branding, employment test development, and staff training. Robyn is recognized for modernizing HR functions through business process re-engineering and technology, having successfully automated onboarding systems and transitioned massive testing programs to virtual platforms. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and combines high-level strategy with a hands-on ability to solve complex organizational challenges.
